…..dreaming world studio is where I bring life to the visions in my mind. It’s a meeting place of the environments that have shaped my life, the aesthetics I embrace and the deepening wisdom that guides my principles and beliefs.

As a creative person, my mind inhabits a world of wonder and marvel, living in a space between reality and imagination. I’m unceasingly in awe of and inspired by our mother earth. I garden, grow food, flowers, healing herbs, wild plants that I ethically forage to learn their secrets and nurture their life spark. It’s in my nature to observe, communicate with and be an integral part of the earth’s life-flow.

My childhood was immersed in the northern wilds of Wyoming, on the edge of the Great Western Basin with its mountains and mineral colored badlands. I was never far from the clear water streams, soils and rocks of the landscape. My hands and pockets were filled with wild flowers, berries, prehistoric bones and fossils dug from the dirt, extraordinary Wyoming rocks and other earthy treasures. Treasures that joined my collection of beloved objects in a wooden box, my little ‘cabinet of curiosities’.

I spent youthful years in a dance studio, studying the art of the graceful gesture. Music and art classes were my raison d’etre. As an adult, I sang professionally, choreographed for a theater group, created art and taught art classes to adults and youngsters. I’ve owned and operated art galleries – one showing contemporary western art and another filled with handcrafted studio art jewelry. I’ve done non-profit arts work, have produced invitational and open call art shows and participated in a lifetime of exciting shows and creative events. My artwork is included in several collections and people around the globe are my collectors. In addition, I am the all hands on deck person, assisting my husband with his classic car restorations.

Today I live a rural life, in touch with my beginnings after too many years of city life and travel for business. I work solo in my studio from artwork conception to finished pieces. My husband is a mad skills fix-it genius…he fine-tunes my jewelry tools and equipment, keeping the studio running smoothly. Art making is more than a job for me, it’s a lifestyle. I endeavor to make life beautiful and interesting in whatever I touch.

Curiosity and discovery are my constant companions…I am a life-long student. The unknown engages me. There’s always something new to learn.
