Studio Transformation

Finally!! After a couple months of planning, I completely changed the studio layout. Everything is now easily accessible from one long center aisle. Just a few more tweaks to the location of tools and supplies, the addition of a hammering stump to hold my vise and stamping blocks, an insulating surround below the bench to contain heat from my space heater (during winter work) and a few more plants. Very happy with this change.

The winter garden is now inside – brought in from the patio to escape the lowering temps. The frost edged October nights have arrived. I do love having my green plants in the studio. The soothing, visual enrichment of green surrounding me as I work is heavenly. I feel nurtured by nature.

….and yes the fern does get moved when I fire in the little kiln.
