New Eyes!

For several years, my eye sight has been dimming. The past year has been especially challenging. Over the last few months, my vision has degraded to the point where an appointment with the eye Dr was made.

It’s somewhat frightening to undergo surgery on my eyes, but being able to see again will be a game changer. Being able to see the minute detail required for jewelry making is everything.

UPDATE: First eye surgery is a success. I’ve gone from completely blurred eyesight to 25 vision in just one week following the lens replacement. In another 2 weeks, I’ll go in for the 2nd surgery. Headed toward 20/20 vision as my brain catches up and syncs with the new eyes. Did I tell you my eye surgeon and anesthesiologist are sci-fi nerds. Yes – we discussed the most recent episodes of Dune and Foundation while I was on the operating table and the doc was working on my eye.
